  At first I wasn't sure about a church in a shopping center, but the people were very friendly and the laid-back atmosphere put me at ease. They did a great job of including children in worship, from a funny children's sermon to having kids help with the prayers. And the message was always one of God's love. I can't wait to go back!

  We didn't intend to be a church in a shopping center, but God put us there in an amazing way. We were working on a plans for new church using the shopping center as a meeting site while we worked on the development plan. Then the shopping center became available to purchase as the bank foreclosed and the economy changed. Thus we purchased it.
  
  Desert Cross has been my families church for over 12 years. We have two sites, one here and another in Tempe. We are warm, loving church with opportunities for all to serve God. The message is that all are welcome the way Jesus welcomed all to follow him.
